January 22, 2021, Villum Young Investigator
I am thrilled to be among this year's Villum Young Investigators. I received DKK 6M from the Villum Foundation to create a snake-inspired soft robot that can learn to crawl and navigate through narrow passages.
November 4, 2020, Support from the Thomas B. Thriges Foundation
I received support from the Thomas B. Thriges Foundation to purchase equipment for the Center for Soft Robotics.
July 10, 2020, Joining SDU Biorobotics
I will join the University of Southern Denmark as an Associate Professor in August 2020.
